GWO Basic Safety Training 4 modules
GWO Basic Safety Training 4 modules (GWO BST 4 modules) is a basic safety training program for operators and technicians working on wind farms. It helps them to understand the risks involved in their work and develop the skills to implement appropriate safety measures. This training is also available in English. The course consists of four modules, not including Sea Survival, for offshore workers and lasts four days. Each module is valid for 2 years.

・Fire Awareness (FAW)
・Manual Handling (MH)
・Working At Height (WAH)
Important Notes
・Participants are required to register with GWO WINDA in advance.
・GWO’s training history will be managed by the WINDA (Wind Industry Database) system.
・Please use the same spelling as in your passport when registering.
・Please register in the same romanisation as used in your passport (Hepburn romanisation), even if you do not have a passport.
・There are no qualifications required to attend the course, but you will be asked to submit a self-declaration regarding your health condition. The procedure will be sent to you by e-mail after registration.
・Students weighing 120 kg or more are not allowed to take the course.
・The course is available in English. The course is taught using English textbook with an English-speaking instructor beside you.
※This is an addition to a regular Japanese course.
※The price is increased by 10% for courses in English.
・For groups of 6 or more, it is possible to offer a course with only English-speaking participants, please contact us.

※We can book your lunch at a nearby restaurant (udon, set meals, etc.) on the morning of the training. Or you can also bring your own lunch and keep it in the training centre’s fridge. Please note that there are no convenience stores in the vicinity of the training center.
※Drinking water is provided free of charge. There are vending machines available for a fee.
※Includes two morning and two afternoon breaks (10 minutes each).
