GWO Wind Limited Access

Training days:0.5~1 day
Effective period:2 years

GWO Wind Limited Access (GWO WLA) is a safety training program designed for individuals who visit WTG environments not for maintenance tasks but for inspection or oversee roles. Upon completing this course, participants will be able to access these environments under the supervision of an experienced BST-qualified person.

The course consists of two modules (JP and EN available):

・Onshore Limited Access (ONL)

When accessing onshore WTG, participants must complete ONL, which takes approximately half a day.

・Offshore Limited Access (OFL)

When accessing offshore WTG, participants are required to complete both the ONL and the OFL. The both modules, ONL and OFL, takes One day course.

Each module is valid for two years.

※Participants taking only Onshore Limited Access (ONL) will complete the module by noon. (Lunch is not included.)
※Those taking Offshore Limited Access (OFL) are required to take Onshore Limited Access (ONL) in the morning session. After the lunch break, the Offshore Limited Access (OFL) module will begin.
※Participants taking both the ONL and OFL modules will be provided with lunch.

Important Notes

・Participants are required to register with GWO WINDA in advance.
・GWO’s training history will be managed by the WINDA (Wind Industry Database) system.
・Please use the same spelling as in your passport when registering.
・Please register in the same romanisation as used in your passport (Hepburn romanisation), even if you do not have a passport.
・There are no qualifications required to attend the course, but you will be asked to submit a self-declaration regarding your health condition. The procedure will be sent to you by e-mail after registration.
Students weighing 120 kg or more are not allowed to take the course.
・The course is available in English. The course is taught using English textbook with an English-speaking instructor beside you. (This is an addition to a regular Japanese course.)
・The price is increased by 10% for courses in English.
・For groups of 6 or more, it is possible to offer a course with only English-speaking participants, please contact us.
・Please indicate your mode of transportation to the training facility when you apply. If you take the ferry from Nagasaki Port, we will pick you up at the ferry terminal on Ioujima. If you are driving, we will secure a parking space at the facility.
